About
Makry Gialos is located in the south-east of Crete, a seaside resort and famous for its beach. Makry Gialos means longbeach. It is a child-friendly beach. The harbour is picturesque and charming. There are many excellent restaurants and taverns to eat healthy and tasty from the local cuisine, made from their own organically grown products. The nice thing about Makry Gialos is that it is suitable for everyone. The town is not big and has a welcoming atmosphere.
